What drives older adults to continue working after official retirement age?

Abstract The need to ensure the economic wellbeing and quality of life those who reach official retirement age is a matter concern in world social services policy making. Since some working older adults may be forced retire when they while others voluntarily, study based on dedicated survey among 508 persons retired both willingly unwillingly for good after reaching 437 continued uninterruptedly. findings show that odds staying job are contingent socio-demographic health-related characteristics adult. Furthermore, predictors remaining labour force depend how strongly adult wishes retire. Those continue undifferentiated level financial support give others. Comparing uninterruptedly with unwillingly, chances being former higher better off before age. These results emphasise extend welfare financial-support policies retire, order minimise blow this path causes.
